                                                     These 6 words are exactly what they sound to be, come as you are.

 Come as that frustrated teenager who stays up at 3 doing homework , just like that young single mother who doesn’t know who the father is, just like that broken hearted girl who just gave in, only to watch him leave, come with all the bruises that man gives you. Come with the lie you just told, come with all the cuss words you just said to your mom under your breath, come with all that anger you have for you father. You can come as you are. Those 6 words can break down that high ego that we all have, tear to shreds the prideful human being, only leaving  a simple sinner , a weary child of God , that believes that they have to fix themselves to come to Jesus because they are ashamed. Oh, but how wrong you are, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart".

                                                                    He's not mad at you, and he's not disappointed

                                                 His grace is greater still, then all of your wrong choices

                                                                         He is full of Mercy and he is ever kind

                                                                      Hear his invitation , his arms are open wide.

 He's invited you to come to him, he didn't say what you had to wear, he didn't say what you had to look like, he didn't say how your hair had to be, he didn't say how much good you had to do before, he didn't say how many times you had to pray, all he wants is you, as you are. .  .

You can come as you are with all your broken pieces,
and all your shameful scars.
The pain you hold in your heart, bring it all to Jesus.
You can come as you are.

Take it ALL to him, lay it down at his feet, and let him heal you because alone you can't.

Let him hear those sobs that come from within,

Let him see that restless soul that tries too hard to be something this world wants to see.

Let him feel your love for him & the peace he brings.

Let him fight your demons.

Let him heal & glorify you.

First is first.
